Dr. Jason E. Cook, DC

Dr. Jason Cook, a doctor of Chiropractic, specializes in functional chiropractic care and physical rehabilitation as well as performance enhancement. His background in sports medicine and rehabilitation has allowed a unique blending of what chiropractic and physical medicine have to offer for neuro-musculoskeletal dysfunction.

His educational background is locally rooted from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK. There he received a B.S. in Health and Human Performance and B.A. in Psychology. He continued his education at Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, Missouri where he received a Doctorate of Chiropractic in December of 2005.  His post-graduate education includes credentials from Graston Technique®, FAKTR-PM, Motion Palpation Institute, 100 hr Acupuncture certification, and Nutritional Injectables certificate. He continues to advance his base of Current treatment options by studying Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization by Pavel Kolar, Biomedical Acupuncture by Dr. Yun-tao Ma and he is currently working toward his Certificate as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician - CCSP®.

Dr. Cook opened his first office in the town he grew up in Inola, Ok and is currently still serving patients there through (Performance Health) chiro-rehab center on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons as well as serving as a sports physician for the high school athletic teams. He expanded his practice to Tulsa in 2008 were he joined with Dr. Westemeir to form South Tulsa Performance Health a multi-discipline rehabilitation center.

Dr. Cook resides in Broken Arrow with his wife, Jacie and his two children daughter Taylor and son Cole.

Dr. Jason T. Westemeir, a doctor of Chiropractic, first began his investigation into natural medicine while playing baseball at California State University at Fullerton.  His interest started as sports medicine and evolved into a higher interest into Chiropractic Care.  His interests deepened into gaining knowledge of the structural and natural health benefits of Chiropratic Care while attending Southern Illinois University, where he was also a member of the baseball program.

Dr. Westemeir received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale, IL where he graduated in the field of Biological Sciences with a minor in Chemistry.  Dr. Westemeir further went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in the field of Human Biology as well as a Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Logan College of Chiropractic in St. Louis, MO.   While at Logan College of Chiropratic, Dr. Westemeir also received his certification in Nutrition and several recognitions.  He was a student clinical assistant and also in charge of the intramural sports program.  Dr. Westemeir is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and the Unified Chiropractic Association.

Directly out of college, Dr. Westemeir joined a practice in Southern California.  While there, he treated many athletes at the college and professional levels.  In order to be closer to his family and friends, he and his wife decided to move to Tulsa in 2006 to join a local practice.  Since then, he has branched out on his own to better accommodate for the needs of his patients.  

Dr. Westemeir feels that it is very important to listen to the patient and have them be an active part of the decisions when creating a treatment plan in order to achieve the maximum results.  Dr. Westemeir provides a number of services to ensure that he can offer relief to a broad number of patients.  This allows him to better assist the patient towards recovery and overall health in using all natural methods.  However, he also believes strongly in traditional methods for medicine as well as chiropractic care and has many referral contacts to better serve his patients many health needs.

Dr. Westemeir has been a guest speaker on KTUL Channel 8 on Good Day Tulsa and is always available for patient consultations and questions.  He believes strongly in communication with patients, both in the office and over the phone and strives to make himself available as much as possible.
